Ka Huna & Traditional Bodywork
Katie Long
Katie Long brings 16 years of expertise in the transformative art of Ka Huna, a traditional Hawaiian Massage. Her diverse training includes Remedial Massage, Psychosomatic Therapy, Lomi Lomi, Reiki and Sound Healing which she integrates into her sessions for a comprehensive and holistic approach to her clients’ needs.
Ka Huna rooted in the wisdom of native Hawaiians serves as both a healing modality and a divine and deeply relaxing massage technique. Utilizing a combination of firm and gentle pressure with forearms, elbows and hands which Katie has mastered over the years to facilitate a deeply healing experience for her clients.
A specially selected playlist of music accompanies her sessions and she attunes the flow of the massage to harmonise rhythms within the client’s body, mind and soul.
Ka Huna affects the Lymphatic, Immune, Digestive, Circulatory and Respiratory systems and is especially effective for stress related issues — mentally, emotionally and also physically with the related aches and neck and upper back tension that tends to come as a result of that.
Having come from a corporate background, Katie has an extra passion for helping people get off the treadmill for a while, back into their bodies and hearts so they can connect with their individual power and reach their full potential.

Every practitioner works differently, but the intention is the same: restore movement, reduce pain, and create space for genuine change.
